MADISON, Wis. (AP) _ An analysis of campaign fundraising shows that more than half of the money Gov. Scott Walker collected last year came from donors outside Wisconsin.

The Wisconsin Democracy Campaign report released Tuesday showed that 54 percent of Walker's individual donations came from out of state. Democrat Mary Burke only got 14 percent of her donations from people outside of Wisconsin.

Walker raised $8.38 million from individuals last year. Burke joined the race in October and raised $1.7 million from individuals.

The Democracy Campaign report also found that Walker got 51 percent of his money, or $4.3 million, from people who gave $1,000 or more. Of those large donations, about $2.4 million came from people outside Wisconsin.

About 10 percent of Burke's donations came from people giving $1,000 or more.
