Beloit Police have identified two suspects in the homicide of 20-year-old Raymond Holloway. One has been arrested, another is still on the loose.

The homicide occurred April 25th in the area of 8th and Highland.

The suspects have been identified as 20-year-old Jajuan Logan and 31-year-old Angelo Young, both of Beloit.

Logan was taken into custody in Racine on April 30th. He was arrested for 1st degree intentional homicide-party to a crime.

Young has not been located and there is a warrant for his arrest. He's sought on a charge of 1st degree intentional homicide-party to a crime.

This crime is one of two homicides that occurred in Beloit on April 25th.


UPDATED Saturday, April 26, 2014 .

Beloit Police are investigating their second homicide in one day, after a shooting just before 4:30 this afternoon.

Police were conducting business in a south western Beloit neighborhood when they heard multiple gunshots, in the area of Eighth and Highland.

Police began calling to report a person firing a weapon, and a vehicle quickly leaving the area. Then the officers found one person had been shot.

20-year-old Raymond Holloway of Beloit was transported to Beloit Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police and detectives responding to the scene are conducting an investigation even before beginning reports from the early morning shooting of today. However police do not know if the two incidents are connected but they will quickly evaluate this possibility.


UPDATED Friday, April 25, 2014 --- 1:58 p.m.

Detectives have identified the man found shot in a roadway early Friday morning as 36-year-old Edward Damont Haley of Beloit.

Authorities are continuing their investigation.


BELOIT, Wis. (AP) _ Beloit police are investigating the death of a man found on a road with gunshot wounds.




Officers from the City and Town of Beloit responded to a report of a man lying in the road shortly after midnight Friday. He was taken to Beloit Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.




Police say an autopsy has been scheduled for later Friday.
