A southern Wisconsin man accused of burning the body of a missing Fitchburg woman in his backyard fire pit has entered guilty pleas in the case.

According to online court records, Nathan Middleton entered guilty pleas on the charges of hiding a corpse and mutilating a corpse. The pleas were made during a hearing Thursday.

According to the criminal complaint, Middleton said he found 18-year-old Aprina Paul dead in his bed Oct. 28 after having sex and doing drugs with her the previous night.

The complaint says they met after Paul responded to Middleton's ad on Craigslist.

A sentencing hearing is scheduled for May 21.
