Monona armed robbery

On 1-14-2014, at 1:33 pm, Officers from the Monona Police Department responded to the Tobacco Outlet store, 6300 Monona Drive, Monona, WI, for a reported armed robbery.

 

Employees reported they were robbed of cash and merchandise by a subject armed with a handgun.

 

A witness observed the sole offender flee on foot running east across an open field just north of the store.  A perimeter was established and a K-9 track ended in the 6200 block of Roselawn Avenue (near Monona and Broadway).

 

Offender described as a black male, early to mid-20’s, 5’7” tall, medium build, last seen wearing a white t-shirt under a black hooded sweatshirt.
