A fire at the Minhas Brewery in Monroe shouldn't impact their beer production. Fire officials were called to the business around 2:30 Thursday afternoon after flames were seen coming from the third floor of the building. Everyone was evacuated from the building safely. Officals say that insulation caught on fire while a contractor was doing work in an office. Officals are asking everyone to stay out of the area, as a number of streets are closed off due to the fire. The amount of damage done to the 160 year old building isn't known.


Multiple crews are responding to a fire at the Minhas Craft Brewery in Monroe.

The Monroe Police Department says crews were called at 2:28 p.m.

The report said flames were coming from the third floor of the building.

Everyone in the brewery was evacuated safely, with no injuries.

Minhas Brewery has been in Monroe for more than 160 years. Right now, the amount of damage is unknown.

The fire response has closed done some streets in the area.
