The latest in the ongoing effort at Dane County's 911 Center to reduce response times.

County Executive Joe Parisi is out with a $225,000 proposal to hire additional dispatchers next year during the center's busiest months. The money could pay for six additional dispatchers, in addition to vacant positions in 2015.


Meanwhile, The Wisconsin State Journal reports encouraging early data has been received on recent changes to speed up call answering and dispatch times.
