Paramedics, citizens help heroin user who passed out in traffic

Concerned citizens and paramedics helped a woman who passed out behind the wheel Friday afternoon in Madison. She reportedly admitted to shooting heroin.

The citizens pulled the unconscious woman from the car that was stopped in traffic in the middle of East Towne Blvd. She was not breathing.

They began life-saving measures until paramedics arrived. The paramedics administered Narcan and the driver was revived

After reportedly admitting to shooting heroin, she apologized for her actions and said she did not want to put others in danger.

Police cited Kimberly Olson for possession of drug paraphernalia and arrested her on a probation hold.
