Dane County Clerk Scott McDonell expects a marriage license rush, should a federal judge overturn Wisconsin's ban on same-sex marriage. McDonell plans to triple his office staff and expand hours as anywhere from 200 to 300 couples could seek licenses in the first 48 hours following a ruling.

Late last week, Attorney General JB Van Hollen indicated that he expected Wisconsin to become the latest state to see a gay marriage ban fail to a court challenge.
