Reminder to fall back; it's Daylight Savings time

MADISON, Wis. (AP) _ Wisconsin health and emergency management officials are urging people to check their smoke and carbon monoxide detectors when they turn their clocks back this weekend.

Daylight savings time ends at 2 a.m. Sunday. State officials say people should check and replace their detector batteries and make sure the devices work when they turn their clocks back.

The U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission estimates about 16 million American homes have smoke alarms that don't work, usually due to dead or missing batteries.
