Boosting the minimum wage to 10 dollars and 10 cents an hour was the focus of a rally outside Madison's City-County building last night. Peter Rickman is with Wisconsin Jobs Now. He spoke at the rally yesterday.  He says...a minimum wage literally touches the lives of 600,000 people in Wisconsin.

The Dane County board voted last night to put the question of raising the minimum wage to voters in a November referendum. Opponents say boosting the wage would actually hurt the economy as employers would hire fewer people.
