UPDATE -

Police releasing more information about the teenagers who crashed a stolen car into a Madison home. It started when Town of Madison police say they tried to talk to the 15-year-old girl behind the wheel of a car parked along Burr Oak, when they say she sped away, hitting another car and mailbox, then ramming into a house on Beld Street. She may be charged with resisting, endangering safety, and operating without consent. A 17-year-old passenger ran when the car collided earlier this week. He's in custody and facing similar charges.. but investigators say they're also taking with the boy about several reports of burglaries in the area.

Just before 10 p.m. Monday, police in the Town of Madison tried to make contact with a 15-year-old girl in a stolen truck. This was in the area of South Park Street in Madison. The teen sped away. The Town of Madison Police did not chase after her, but she drove away so fast she lost control of the truck and slammed it into a house on the 2000 block of Beld Street.

City of Madison Police say the crash caused so much damage the house is now uninhabitable.
