UW Police Dept. investigate early morning sexual assault

MADISON, Wis. --- The University of Wisconsin Police Department is investigating second sexual assault case in recent days.

The most recent attack happened about 1:30 Friday morning, according to an email sent by police to the U-W campus.

A 21-year-old woman says she was assaulted in an alley near 21 N. Park St. The victim had been with friends in the State St. area and was walking home.

The suspect is a white male, early 20's and is 5'11" to 6'2" tall. He has a muscular build with brown spiked hair and facial stubble.

This week police have been investigating another reported sexual assault near North Park St. Another 21-year-old woman said she was attacked early in the morning. The suspect in that case is a black man with short hair and face stubble.
