A 26 year old man is in the Dane County jail on a tentative charge of driving while intoxicating, causing injury, for a crash near the Kohl Center Saturday night. Police identified the driver as Daymon J. Frazier.
Just before 6:30 p.m., Frazier is accused of striking two pedestrians in a crosswalk at N. Frances and W. Dayton streets. Frazier kept driving and went the wrong way down a one-way street and hit a pole. Frazier and a passenger got out of the vehicle, but police arrested both of them a few blocks away.
One of the pedestrians who was struck was hospitalized, although authorities expect they'll be ok.
