Janesville Police say they arrested a Michigan man Monday night after a report of suspicious activity.
A person reported to police seeing an adult male at the Ramada Inn with a juvenile female.
Police say the contacted 31-year-old Bryan S. Kind from Gladwin, Michigan. Police say the juvenile, who is 16, was not at the hotel at the time but was located and interviewed.
The investigation revealed that Kind was communicating with the teenager over the last year on various apps and messaging sites.
Police say Kind traveled multiple times to the area to meet the teen and in some of the encounters they engaged in sexual contact.
Kind was arrested on 3 counts of Sex with Child 16 or Older, Child Enticement - Exposing Sex Organ, and 3 counts of Possession of Child Pornography.
