Inmates escape Wisconsin correctional center

Two inmates have escaped from Winnebago Correctional Center, according to the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.

The men are minimum-security inmates, James Heather and Alexander Weinmann.

Our ABC affiliate, WBAY, says in March, Heather was sentenced to prison for possession of meth. Weinmann had served time for criminal damage to property. Online court records show his bond was revoked in 2015 and he was sent back to prison.

The two left sometime between midnight and 7 a.m., according to corrections officials

If you see these men you are asked to contact authorities.
