- UW officials say they are aware of social media videos showing a television thrown from the roof of a building near campus that narrowly missed a woman walking below.
Police also have been notified of the videos, which began circulating on Instagram several days ago.
The woman, when contacted by 27 News, said she suffered some cuts and bruises on her hand.
In a statement Tuesday, UW-Madison spokeswoman Meredith McGlone said the university is aware of the video and is deeply concerned.
Officials are working to confirm where and when it happened so they can take appropriate action.
"Students organizations are responsible for maintaining the health and safety of their members and any guests they have," McGlone wrote in a statement. "If they don't, they are held accountable to the student code of conduct which governs all students organizations."
