Police are seeking a man they consider armed and dangerous following a shooting Friday at a Janesville gas station.
Janesville police responded to a report of shots fired about midnight Aug. 17 at 1951 Center Ave.
When officers arrived, they learned that approximately three shots were fired in the parking lot of the gas station.
The investigation is ongoing, however police are attempting to gather information on individuals that were at the scene, but who left prior to speaking with the police.
After reviewing surveillance video from the gas station, police have identified Royal L. Powell, 35, as the man who fired a round into a group of people in the parking lot.
