Rescued kitten adjusting well to new home with Beloit cop

UPDATE (WKOW) — A kitten rescued Sunday by a Platteville police officer appears to be adjusting well to its new home.

Officer Matt Froiseth rescued the kitten while out on patrol and decided to give it a new home … and a new name.

Visitors to Platteville Police Department Facebook page suggested lots of names, from Eclipse to Luna, but Froiseth decided on Donut, which also is appropriate for an officer.

According to a new post, Donut is getting comfortable with its new surroundings.
