Students to be searched after threat at Edgerton High School

EDGERTON (WKOW) — Students can expect to be searched Thursday morning after a bomb threat was found in a bathroom at Edgerton Highschool on Wednesday.

A letter from Superintendent Dennis Pauli was sent to parents yesterday informing them of the threat.

The letter states that the threat indicated a bomb would go off at the school on Thursday. Pauli said the school has been secured, and that all students and backpacks will be searched upon entrance to the school Thursday morning.

Students will be directed to enter the school through the main entrance door, and the entrance adjacent to the green space. Students won’t be allowed in until 7 a.m.

The Edgerton Police Department will be assisting in the searches, and will have an increased presence on campus.
