Closs Kidnapper To Be Sentenced Today

Jake Patterson will find out Friday afternoon if he gets a chance of parole when he’s sentenced for kidnapping Jayme Closs, after killing her parents last October. Patterson’s hearing is scheduled in Barron County, beginning at 1:30. He’s automatically facing life in prison, but a judge can decide on parole eligibility. Patterson has pleaded guilty to the murders of James and Denise Closs, and the abduction of Jayme.
