Judge denies religious exemption for Rastafari house founders

The founders of Madison’s Judah House of Rastafari who were arrested in a drug raid were ordered Friday to stay away from the building they use as a church.

Jesse Schworck, 39, and Dylan Bangert, 23, face possible charges of delivery of marijuana and maintaining a drug dwelling, according to a news release.

During a brief court hearing Friday, a judge refused to allow the men to use a religious exemption to continue to use drugs for personal use.
