Richland Center woman claims she was attacked before deadly shooting

A Richland Center woman claims a homicide victim attacked her before she shot him twice in the back of the head, according to a recently filed criminal complaint.

Amber Lundgren, 35, appeared Monday for a Sauk County Court hearing from the jail via video conference on a first degree intentional homicide charge in the killing of 37-year-old Christopher Lytle of Oxford.

Judge Patricia Barrett set Lundgren’s bail at $500,000.

Authorities say Lytle’s body was found by passersby near a wildlife area in the town of Fairfield last month Sept. 22.
