Man arrested for attacking couple inside Madison restaurant

Madison police say a couple visiting Madison was attacked while they were eating at a restaurant on Sunday morning.

According to an incident report, the couple was on their way to the airport when they stopped at McDonald's on Dryden Drive around 7:30 a.m.

Police say Kejuan T. Hill, 22, suddenly attacked the woman who was sitting down, punching her multiple times.

Hill then allegedly hit the man in the head with a crowbar as he tried to help the woman. The man was able to defend himself.

Police say as the two men struggled, before another customer tackled Hill to the ground.

That's when two Madison officers entered McDonald's to get coffee, saw what was happening, and took Hill into custody.

The couple were treated for their injuries and rushed to the airport.

Police aren't sure why Hill attacked the couple. He's now facing multiple charges.
