Madison School Board announces finalists for district superintendent

Madison Metropolitan School District Board of Education announced on Thursday that two finalists have been selected for the district's next superintendent.

The finalists are Dr. Carol Kelley, who currently serves as Superintendent of Oak Park Elementary School District 97 in Oak Park, Illinois.

The other finalist is Dr. Carlton Jenkins, the Superintendent of the Robbinsdale School District in New Hope, Minnesota.

The next phase in the process will have the finalists interviewing with the school board next week. They each will also participate in engagement sessions with MMSD staff and students. The candidates will introduce themselves and ask questions and give feedback that the board will take into account in the decision-making process.
