Madison police respond to 10 separate shots fired calls over the weekend

Madison police responded to ten shots fired calls over the Fourth of July weekend and into Monday morning.

The shootings were all reported on the city's north and east sides, according to a series of incident reports released over the last several days.

The incident reports do not indicate the shootings to be connected.

In total, police recovered more than 106 bullets or shell casings across the shooting calls. Some of the incident reports did not indicate exactly how many casings were found.

No one was reported hurt in the shootings, but in several instances, bullets hit houses with people inside.
