Baraboo schools to begin year with in-person classes

BARABOO (WKOW) -- Students in the Baraboo School District will be returning to their schools in the fall.

The district's school board approved the district's return to school plan at a meeting Monday night.

Students and staff will be required to wear masks and will be social distancing.

The district is giving families the option to have their kids remain at home and take classes virtually. Families will need to notify the district of their decision by August 7.

The district will ask families in late fall about their preference for the second half of the year.
