Brooklyn home total loss after Thanksgiving day fire

UPDATE (WKOW) -- No one was living in a Brooklyn home that went up in flames Thursday night.

The property owner, who lives in a home close by, told 27 News the person who was going to rent the home starting in February had not moved in fully yet. That person did lose some furniture and the home is a total loss.

The property owner says he noticed flames late Thursday night and by the time the fire department go there, the roof had caved in.

There's no word yet what caused the fire to start.
