UPDATE (WKOW) -- The Dane County Medical Examiner's Office says the 20-year-old man who was shot and killed Monday in Fitchburg is 20-year-old Julian Patterson of Fort Atkinson.
A forensic autopsy was completed Tuesday. Preliminary autopsy results show Patterson's death was the result of homicidal firearm-related trauma.
The Dane County Medical Examiner's Office says additional testing is underway.
