An upset in a Madison school board race. Gloria Reyes beat incumbent Anna Moffit in Seat 1 on the board. The final tally was 53 to 47 percent. Moffit had served one term on the board.
On the Dane County board, Kelly Danner beat District 11 incumbent Al Matano. Five of the county board's 37 seats had contested elections, but Matano was the only incumbent that was opposed.
In Verona, Luke Diaz won the race for mayor. Tim Swadley won the mayoral race in Stoughton.
