MADISON (WKOW) -- Police have arrested a man after they say he threatened to hurt people at Warner Park.
According to Madison Police Chief Mike Koval's blog, a teenager reported coming across the 49-year-old man at the Warner Park Community Recreation Center around 4 p.m. Saturday. The suspect told the boy he lost his housing and he was "going to shoot them all." The suspect lifted his shirt and showed the teenager the handle of a weapon.
When officers arrived, they found the man with a knife in his waistband. The suspect was taken to jail and faces a charge of disorderly conduct. Police say he did not make any specific threats.
