(Madison, WI) -- Beitler Real Estate Services is suing Madison over the Judge Doyle Square project. Beitler claims the city "unilaterally seized" some private portions of the project when it approved additional funds to construct them.
The lawsuit was filed June Fourth in U.S. District Court in Illinois. It follows Madison City Council's approval of $11 million dollars in additional public spending to build a retail space, private parking and a slab to support an apartment building.
Beitler say the city has a continuing patter of excluding them from the development process.
