From the Dane County Sheriff's Dept: Madison, WI. June 11, 2018 – On Sunday, June 10th at about 12:30 pm, Dane County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a vehicle vs bicyclist crash on Fair Oaks Ave. at Commercial Ave. in the town of Blooming Grove.
A 15-year-old female bicyclist was crossing Fair Oaks Ave. when she was hit by a vehicle operated by Mario S. Jeffery, age 37 of Marshall.
The girl, who was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, was transported to UW Hospital. The crash remains under investigation by the Dane County Sheriff’s Office.
Citations for the motorists are pending.
