MADISON (WKOW) -- An Edgerton man suspected of drunken driving with kids in his car caused $3,000 damage to a hospital bed before being transferred to jail.
Dustin L. Morey, 43, faces charges of operating while under the influence - seventh offense, second-degree reckless endangerment, operating while revoked, resisting/obstructing, criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct.
Madison police took Morey into custody after being called to the parking lot of Ho Chunk Casino, 4002 Evan Acres Rd. shortly before 1:00 p.m.
Police say Morey had two children in his pickup truck and that one child had attempted to jump from the truck to avoid being inside a vehicle being driven by someone who had been drinking.
Morey was taken to a hospital where he caused an estimated $3,000 damage to a bed before going to jail.
