FITCHBURG (WKOW) -- Fitchburg police are investigating shots fired overnight.
They got a call around 2:15 a.m. Monday, July 9 to the 4500 block of Thurston Lane. Multiple people called 911 and reported hearing gunshots.
Officers did find several shell casing and determined someone targeted a specific apartment. There were people inside the apartment, but no one was injured.
