TOWN OF MAZOMANIE (WKOW) -- A 51-year-old man from Middleton died Thursday when he crashed his motorcycle while driving in the town of Mazomanie.
The Dane County Sheriff's Office says the crash was reported around 5:15 p.m. Thursday. Officers say the driver was going east on Highway 19 and had trouble going around a curve near the intersection with County Highway F. The motorcycle went off the road and crashed into a wooded area.
The driver was taken by MedFlight to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The man's name has not been released because family members are still being notified.
Investigators say he was wearing a helmet.
