Governor Scott Walker today approved a $2.8 million emergency contract to reconstruct two US 14 bridges in Black Earth damaged by flooding in August.
Work to replace the bridges is already underway with the removal of debris from the former bridges.
Construction is scheduled for completion in mid-November.
Kraemer North America of Plain, WI is the primary contractor.
The project includes the replacement of the structures spanning Black Earth Creek in western Dane County.
Walker declared a State of Emergency in Wisconsin on Aug. 29, 2018 because of wide-spread flooding and storm damage in numerous counties.
