Good news for drivers in southern Wisconsin. Governor Scott Walker announced in Milton on Tuesday that the work along I-39/90 will be finished a year ahead of schedule.
The stretch of interstate between Janesville and Edgerton will be three lanes in each direction by 2020. According to Gov. Walker’s office, the work being done frees up $70 million for other projects on the highway between Illinois and Madison.
