A vehicle ran into a shed in the Town of Bristol early Saturday morning, causing the shed to partially collapse. The driver, a 39 year old Madison man, was taken by to the hospital with serious, but non life-threatening injuries. The accident happened just before 2 a.m. on Highway V. Deputies say the driver had been pinned inside the vehicle. He was cited for OWI.
It was a round up of drunk drivers overnight, following a number of crashes around Dane County. In Madison, a squad car was hit by a drunk driver while the officer was conducting another traffic stop on University Avenue Friday night. And there were two other alcohol related crashes and arrests near Edgerton and Stoughton.
