BEAVER DAM (WKOW) — The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office identified the person involved in the officer-involved shooting in Beaver Dam on Friday, October 26 as 35-year-old Richard Henke II.
However, at this time in a press release, Sheriff Dale Schmidt didn’t provide any other new information about the shooting.
Beaver Dam police were called to a domestic incident. Authorities say Henke was shot in the lower part of his body. He was taken into custody and transferred to UW Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. A 17-year veteran of the Beaver Dam Police Department was placed on administrative leave.
