Marshall police are investigating an armed robbery last Wednesday that they say may be connected to a robbery 30 minutes earlier in Madison.
Officers from the Marshall Police Department responded about 6:50 p.m. on Nov. 21 to the Mobile Gas Station at 510 W. Main Street, for a report of an armed robbery.
Upon arrival, officers learned that two masked robbers had entered the store and one was armed with a handgun.
The robbers took cash and also robbed a patron of the store. Nobody was hurt during the robbery and the suspects fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival.
The robbers are described as two black males, between 5-8” and 6-0”, thin, and in their early 20s.
One was wearing a white mask described as a “Jason Mask” and the other was wearing a bandanna over his face.
Madison also had an armed robbery at a gas station approximately 30 minutes before this incident, which authorities believe may be related.
In this incident, both suspects were masked also and the mask was described as a “Michael Myers Mask” (which is similar to a Jason Mask).
A handgun was used in both incidents.
