Drivers who pass through Madison, Fitchburg and Verona can expect some changes this week.
Some lanes will be closed on Verona Road starting Wednesday. The closures will happen during the day and night, in both directions.
Crews will be removing and replacing pavement markings between Raymond Road and County PD for the winter months.
One lane will be closed in each direction on Verona Road, unless noted otherwise.
-7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday (Dec. 5) – Verona Road northbound only. Northbound Verona Road traffic to be shifted to new northbound lanes between Williamsburg Way and Raymond Road.-9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday (Dec. 6) – Verona Road southbound only-6 p.m. Thursday to 7 a.m. Friday (Dec. 7)-9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday-6 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Saturday (Dec. 8)
There will also be daytime and nighttime lane closures on County PD from Wednesday to Friday near the Verona Road intersection.
