FITCHBURG (WKOW) — Fitchburg police are searching for a man who robbed a liquor store Friday evening.
Officers were called to Liquor Town on Williamsburg Way around 5:00 p.m. The suspect had a black firearm and demanded money from the clerk. He ran away from the store and police have not found him yet.
The suspect is described as an African-American man, about 170 pounds and 5’7″ to 5’8″ tall. He was wearing black pants and a black jacket. Police say he also had a hat and face mask on.
