Wind Chill Advisory will expire at noon

MADISON  (WKOW) — The coldest air of the season has moved in this morning.

Temperatures will tumble into the minus teens this morning, and wind chills will drop to between -20 to -30.  This has prompted a Wind Chill Advisory until noon today.

Today will be frigid with temperatures struggling to reach zero, and then the mercury will tumble back into the minus teens Friday night. It will stay bitterly cold through the weekend with highs only in the single digits.

More snow will develop Sunday night and come to an end Monday night. Significant accumulations are possible. The middle of next week will be dangerously cold, with record cold temperatures possible.
