Authorities say a man who was shot and wounded outside a Madison apartment complex Sunday was shot at the urging of his daughter.
Bail was set today in Dane County Court for Nicole Nelson at $10,000 as a party to the crime of reckless injury.
Bail for the alleged shooter, Richard Adams, was set at $100,000.
Authorities say Adams shot Nelson’s father, Tracey Nelson, after the father and daughter argued, and Nicole Nelson told Adams to shoot.

UPDATE (WKOW) — Madison police have arrested two suspects in a shooting Sunday morning that injured a 56-year-old Madison man.
Richard B. Adams, 37, Madison and Nicole T. Nelson, 35, Madison, face charges related to the shooting near Segoe Terrace Apartments.
Neither the victim, nor the suspects live in the area where the crime took place, police said.
The shooting followed an argument outside of the apartment complex, according to a Madison Police Department incident report.
The victim was visiting someone and had just left the building when the suspects arrived to confront him.
Witnesses provided officers with good information on the suspects, including a vehicle description, that led to their arrest.

UPDATE (WKOW) — The Madison Police Department says a 56-year-old man suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound following a shooting outside of a Sawyer Terrace apartment complex this morning.
A 27-year-old person of interest has been detained, according to an incident report.
Investigators believe this was a targeted act of gun violence between people who are acquaintances.

MADISON (WKOW) — Madison police responded about 10:40 a.m. Sunday to a call reporting shots fired at 602 Sawyer Terrace.
The Madison Police Department, Fire Department, and EMS responded, according to Dane County Communications.
