Boy writes MPD letter, apologizing for 911 call about early bedtime

MADISON (WKOW) — A little boy in Madison is apologizing for his “misuse” of 911 after calling to get out of an early bedtime.

9-year-old Max sent the letter to officers saying “I’m sorry for wasting your time on Friday. Th[e] reason I called was I did not want to go to bed at 7 p.m. at night.”

The Madison Police Department posted the note, thanking Max and his family for taking time to send the letter. They said, “In his defense, a 7 p.m. bedtime might seem a bit unfair.”
