COLUMBIA COUNTY (WKOW) — The Wisconsin State Patrol is searching for a man who they say ran away after a car accident in Columbia Friday night.
Sgt. Helgerson says officials responded to the crash at 5:56 p.m at Interstate 90/94.
The driver ran away before law enforcement arrived, according to authorities. His vehicle was blocking the middle and right lanes southbound, they added.
Officers began a search with the assistance of the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office and a K-9 unit.
The suspect has not been located or identified.
