UPDATE (WKOW) — The Madison Police Department is investigating an attempted homicide after a weekend stabbing.
Police said a 26-year-old man was stabbed multiple times Sunday at about 6 p.m. He is currently in the hospital. No word on his condition.
The suspect, a man approximately 40-years-old, is in custody.
Authorities said the incident appears to be isolated and there is no additional danger to the public.

MADISON (WKOW) — One person has been taken to a hospital after a stabbing in Madison.
Madison police tell 27 News officers were called to an address in the 800 block of S. Midvale Boulevard just after 6 p.m. on Sunday for a report of a stabbing.
Police say a suspect has been taken into custody.
There is no word on the condition of the victim right now.
