MADISON (WKOW) — Portilo’s, a fast-casual restaurant known for its menu of Chicago style favorites, had its grand opening on Monday.
The restaurant is located at 4505 East Towne Blvd. The restaurant is the third location in Wisconsin. The other two are located in Brookfield and Greenfield.
Guests can enjoy tons of Chicago classics such as Chicago-style hot dogs, Italian beef sandwiches, char-grilled burgers, salads and Portillo’s famous chocolate cake. They’re also offering a “Badger Brat,” a menu item unique to Wisconsin.
The famous restaurant chain started in 1963 by Dick Portillo in a suburb of Chicago. Since then, it’s expanded to over 50 different locations in several states.
