A homicide trial has been rescheduled for July 29 for the man accused of killing his mom’s boyfriend.
Authorities say Austin Valdez admitted to shooting Robin Reeson because he claims Reeson was beating his mother. It happened in March of 2018 at a home in Ridgeway, just east of Dodgeville. Court records show the jury trial will begin July 29. In February, a jury declared amistrial.
