Police search for woman who robbed Fitchburg Stop-N-Go

FITCHBURG (WKOW) — The Fitchburg Police Department is looking for a woman who robbed a Stop-N-Go on Fish Hatchery Road Wednesday night.

According to FPD, a clerk reported a female suspect entered the store at about 10 p.m. and implied she had a gun. No weapon was ever seen. The suspect demanded cash and cigarettes and ran to a vehicle in a nearby parking lot.

The car was described as a black four-door Buick sedan. It could be an early 2000s model with two stickers on the rear window.

Police provided this description of the suspect:

Lighter complected black female, approximately 5’5″ tall and 170-200 pounds. She was wearing gray pants, a camouflage jacket and a hooded sweatshirt that was pulled tightly around her face.

There were two customers inside the store at the time of the robbery. No one was hurt.
